Role
Lead Visual Designer
Project overview
I operated as a lead designer across a diverse portfolio, balancing everyday brand evolution with high-stakes strategic initiatives within LSBP Labs (the company’s innovation arm). My role was unique in its breadth, requiring me to own the end-to-end delivery of UX/UI systems for the Tribe App, the "Be The Change" recruitment identity, and global sustainability campaigns. I functioned as the primary design lead for these work streams, translating complex renewable energy concepts into intuitive digital experiences and motion-driven narratives that scaled across global markets.
Challenges
The core challenge was context-switching between distinct design disciplines moving seamlessly from high-fidelity product prototyping for the Tribe App to large-scale brand identity systems. I had to maintain absolute visual consistency while managing the operational friction of evolving briefs and tight deadlines. Furthermore, I was tasked with assuming leadership responsibilities on key projects while navigating the transition from a mid-weight to a lead mindset, ensuring that every digital and physical touchpoint reflected the company’s mission for a sustainable future.

Results
Product Success: I successfully delivered the full brand identity and UX/UI framework for the Tribe App, creating a functional digital experience that supported the app’s launch across the UK, Spain, and Australia with over 500,000 downloads.
Scale & Recruitment: My creative overhaul of the “Be The Change” campaign led to the successful recruitment of over 200 new staff members, proving the effectiveness of the new visual and motion-driven identity.
Consistency & Growth: I established new design structures that significantly improved brand and UX consistency across all sustainability communications, ensuring Lightsource bp’s mission resonated with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Versatility: By delivering high-impact work across UX, motion, and digital design, I built the cross-disciplinary foundation that allowed me to transition into senior-level roles at global firms like Santander and Allianz.
