Allianz Trade is a global leader in trade credit insurance, operating across numerous international markets. I worked on the global rebrand transitioning Euler Hermes to Allianz Trade, a strategic initiative aimed at unifying the organisation under the Allianz master brand while maintaining clarity, trust, and consistency across regions.

Role

Lead Brand Designer

Project overview

I led the end-to-end design transition for Allianz Trade following its global rebrand from Euler Hermes, managing the systematic rollout of thousands of assets across international markets such as Belgium, Germany and Ireland. Operating within a specialised, high-output team of three, I translated new brand guidelines into scalable UX templates, digital components, and print systems. The project involved a comprehensive audit and redesign of the entire asset library, ensuring strict brand governance and accessibility while supporting the unique requirements of regional teams. By balancing creative quality with rigorous operational discipline, we successfully delivered a unified, production-ready visual identity that now defines Allianz Trade’s global digital and physical presence.

Challenges

The primary challenge during the global transition at Allianz involved orchestrating the rebrand of thousands of assets across diverse formats and international regions under a Senior Visual Designer capacity. This required maintaining absolute global consistency while simultaneously supporting necessary regional variations and multiple languages to ensure a unified brand presence. Operating within a lean, high-performing team, we were tasked with delivering an enterprise-level transformation under intense time sensitivity, requiring precise coordination to meet fixed global launch windows without compromising on creative quality or operational discipline.

Results

I played a pivotal role in the global transition from Euler Hermes to Allianz Trade, ensuring a consistent and recognizable brand identity across digital, print, and UX touchpoints. Working within a high-output, cross-functional team, I delivered over 3,000 production-ready assets and refreshed documents, enabling regional teams to adopt the new brand with confidence. My efforts contributed to a unified global presence that saw the website reach 128,000 monthly clicks and nearly 400,000 monthly downloads. By balancing creative excellence with operational discipline, I successfully demonstrated the ability to execute a large-scale international rebrand while maintaining high-level engagement across all markets.
